Expanding on the award-winning short, Backmask is a feature-length horror about fame, obsession, and the dark side of creativity. After his band implodes, 1970s rock star Billy retreats with his pregnant wife Lana to an isolated country mansion to record his first solo album. But when he discovers a ghostly ‘backmasked’ voice buried in his reel-to-reel tapes, inspiration curdles into paranoia, obsession, and madness, and Lana finds herself in a desperate battle for survival.
